Founded in 1993, TEKNOMAR manufactures under the TEKNOMAR brand using advanced technology equipment, producing across 8 different product groups and serving multiple industries.
Under its own brand, the company has pioneered in Turkey with R&D projects in Surgical Instrument Sterilization Devices, Clean Room systems and products, Biosafety Cabinets, Air Purification and Climate Control systems. It has also led innovations in Hydrogen Peroxide Sterilization Devices, Large-Scale Industrial Ethylene Oxide Gas Sterilizers, and ASEPTIZER systems for particle and climate-controlled environments.
With a focus on customer satisfaction, Teknomar continuously develops and exports cost-effective, high-quality products to more than 40 countries without compromising on quality.
Teknomar has a 2,000 m2 closed service and production area. Within its factory building, the sterilization center includes Class 10,000 and Class 1,000 clean areas, and an industrial ethylene oxide sterilization device with a capacity of 20 m3 per day, providing customers with reliable and economical sterilization services in compliance with European standards (EN).
The company holds ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 Quality Management System certifications, and its products are CE certified in accordance with 93/42/MDD.
Message from the Chairman of the Board
The foundations of TEKNOMAR were laid in the 1990s and it was officially established in 1993 by Hasan Tahsin ÖZBEK. Until the 2000s, TEKNOMAR operated in various industries outside the healthcare sector; however, at the beginning of the 2000s, the company shifted its focus to healthcare through R&D projects. The first product under its brand was UV surgical instrument sterilization devices, produced in 1990.
The company's rapid entry into the healthcare sector was marked by the production of Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Devices. Towards the end of the 1990s, when imported products were burdening the sector, TEKNOMAR, with the support and expertise of esteemed cardiovascular surgeons, began mass production of cardiovascular-type EO sterilizers aimed at safe catheter sterilization.
Subsequently, ASEPTIZER, Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma Sterilizers, Ozone Plasma Sterilizers, TopiVac Wound Care devices, and more were developed.
By producing the world's largest Industrial Ethylene Oxide Sterilization Device in its class, TEKNOMAR has become a global brand.
TEKNOMAR has contributed to many different sectors including Healthcare, Agriculture, Defense, Food, Communication, and Electronics. It has participated in universities' Scientific Research Projects, developed electronic-electromechanical and mechatronic devices, control systems, and software, and has been involved in the design and production of special projects. With ongoing projects and exports to more than 40 countries, the company continues to add value to the national economy.
